Palladio

With Palladio, the user was able to see a clearer picture of the relationships between two types of topics at a time. A limitation of Palladio and any network visualization is that there are ways of only comparing two topics and not more than two otherwise it gets harder to analyze. Based on the readings this is expected because to have more than two would be incomprehensible, especially with a large data set for the activity.

For the activity we uploaded an Excel spreadsheet that was already parsed correctly. Then we had a chance to upload tables based on the input data and then filter what we wanted based on whether we wanted to show a graph or a map. I liked the various ways that I could filter but I found it difficult to interact with the software, zooming in and out and moving nodes were a bit difficult.
