Persona 1:
- Name: Macy
- Demographic: Female, 24, middle class, lives in the suburbs
- Descriptive Title: Enthusiastic Internet Surfer
- Quote: Surfing the internet enhances your general knowledge
- A Day in a Life Narrative: Gets up and get dressed for work at a software developer company. Arrives at 8 am and works until 4 pm. She then makes her way back to her two bedroom apartment where she then eats dinner in front of the tv for an hour and then is on the computer internet surfing until bedtime at 11 pm.
- End goals: To use my final project to understand more about the history because she happened upon my website. She’s not a huge fan of history but the content is engaging enough that she wants to see if she can contribute as well. She wants to see what other computer software she can use to enhance this project in the future.
Persona 2:
- Name: Wes
- Demographic: Male, 27, upper middle class, lives in the city
- Descriptive Title: Aspiring History Professor
- Quote: Learning history is actively learning in the present
- A Day in a Life Narrative: Wakes up and starts his studies for his Ph.D history program. He attends history events and lectures on the weekends and during his free time in the city. He walks around the city during his study breaks to learn more about where he is living and to be a part of nature for an hour or two before hitting the books again. He has a side/freelance job of writing blog posts about what he finds on his walks, any historical tidbits, and also tutors students in history at a high school nearby his condo.
- End goals: To use my final project to make sure it is historically accurate in most ways, see if he can let his students from tutoring use this game to learn more about disasters in history. He would also like to feature the interesting components either how it was built and/or the historical information in his next blog post.
