The Great Irish Potato Famine was from around 1845 to 1850. It impacted the Irish in various ways. They could not grow their staple crop effectively and it led to starvation, emigration to various countries, and disease. This exhibit is a start to the public opinion of those involved somehow in the Famine and to the relief of the Irish. I obtained these sources in the Public Domain through the HathiTrust Digital Library.
